Cloisonné is an enameling technique which consists of soldering to a metal surface delicate metal strips bent to the outline of a design and filling the resulting cellular spaces, called cloisons with vitreous enamel paste . Its a delicate art form that is slowly falling into oblivion.
These pendants are an ode to the detailed craftsmanship of the past. I got my hand on some bead that are so beautifully crafted , new work like this doesn't come anywhere close .
Each piece is strung on a simple chain with an adjustable hook that allows you to place the bead where you feel it falls the best.
